I HATE WISCONSIN!

I hate Wisconsin. I'll just be frank about it. I hate their coach. I hate most of their players. I hate most of their fans (my co-worker Allison is really cool so she's the exception). A lot of them that I have run across act like basketball started in the 2001-02 season, ironically the year they won the Big Ten Championship.

I think Bo Ryan is a grinch, a used car salesman, and a tool. Some Spartan fans I know view him as an evil power, i.e. somebody who lives on the floor beneath us. I won't go that far. A friend of mine said this: Just put horns on him and see what happens. I'll let you decide.

Others have said that he is the coach that looks the most like his mascot. I for one, can't disagree with that.

I respect his abilities. He's a very good coach. I won't call him great yet because he has to win consistently in the tournament. However, he always gets the most out of his guys and does a great job in conference. As a student, I've had many a bad night because of this guy.

Now keep in mind I started at MSU the year he started at Wisconsin

2002 - breaks up 53-game home win streak
2004 - wins in OT at the Breslin with the Big Ten title on the line
2004 - wins in Big Ten tournament after MSU leads the whole game
2005 - MSU blows an 8-point lead in Madison with 2 minutes to play
As a non-student:
2007 - Chris Rock hits a 3-pointer with 5 seconds left to win by 2
(Devin Harris was an absolute Spartan killer. I hated him but I hated Alando Tucker more.)

In fact, here is an article from the Lansing State Journal that sums it all up: Wisconsin is MSU's ingrown toenail

However, one thing that Wisconsin fans will have to always live with is this: You were a fraud last year. Your best season ever resulted in nothing. No Big Ten regular season title, no Big Ten conference tournament title, and a 2nd round loss in the Big Dance. But you might say hey, we were #1 last year. However, your first game as the "top-ranked team" resulted in a nice L, courtesy of .

Unfortunately for tonight, this MSU teams craps the bed on the road way too much for me to believe that they can rise up and win at the 2nd toughest place in the Big Ten. That ingrown toenail probably hurts a little more tonight. 65-58 Wisconsin

FIRING ON ALL CYLINDERS!

It's time to give my other boys some love. That's right, those Detroit Pistons are comin. The league needs to be aware. The world needs to be aware. The 42-15 Pistons, fresh off of a dominating win at Phoenix and a win at Denver are starting to click once again after a shaky start comin out of the break. The bench is very underrated and very athletic. The starters do what they do but major shout-outs to Miggety McDyess, leadin the squad in boards. That's right league, they comin, they hungry, and win that ship.

I SEE YOU AMIR!

We want you!

WHERE HAS THIS TEAM BEEN?!?!?!

Trying to get the hang of the frequent blogging thing. I alluded to the MSU basketball team needing to get it together after losing 3 of 4. I know it's hard to take a lot out of 1 game BUT that was the best I've seen that team since the Texas game. 30 assists on 35 field goals. Lots of energy, dunks, and most importantly, they had fun. It's hard to remember when they played loose like this. It was definitely fun to see. It's always nice to get a little payback as I have no f'n idea how they lost to Penn State in the first place. Reality check Nittany Lions, it was a fluke. The 37-point win says so (2nd largest Big Ten win ever for MSU behind the greatest game ever...yes 114-63).

Here are a few things that I liked seeing

Next up, payback time vs Iowa!

In other news. The PS3 is phenomenal. I'll get into that another time. And thanks for whoever left that MSU comment, the first comment I've had since being a blogger! Keep 'em comin!

I'M BACK

I re-did my page!!! I finally had some time to work on some things and I figured it's been too long since I was gone.

So here we are and what's happened since my last post:

- The Tigers didn't make the playoffs

- The Red Sox won the World Series (now before 2006, this would have been a good thing. However since moving to the Northeast, they have been the most unbearable fans on earth. Damn this team)

- MSU football actually had a winning record in November and went to a bowl game in Orlando

- The Tigers trade for Dontrelle Willis and Miguel Cabrera...oh yea, they also got Edgar Renteria and Jacque Jones. (1,000 runs this year shug)

- The Patriots failed to complete the Boston double-dip as the Giants win SB XLII (Shout to Plax for gettin that done at the end)

- The Celtics sold their soul for 2 years, here's hoping the 39-14 Pistons squash that madness in May-June

- MSU basketball started out the season in the Top 10, lost an exhibition game, responded by beating Texas, lost at Iowa and Penn State (WTF?) and then dropped the games to the Indiana schools.

This brings me to my rant:
Tom Izzo needs to do something to get this team together. They turn the ball over too much. Neitzel disappears for games. Morgan disappears from games. The Big Ten title is done!

Now there are 6 BIG TEN games left. They'll probably be a 4 seed in the conf tourney, looking at a 6 seed in the real tourney. I want to repeat 2005, 2005, 2005 because that team was extremely soft but they found a way to get it done as a 5 seed and got to the Final 4. This team has the talent to do so but they better figure this out soon! They sure could use a little
